Boston Marathon Tragedy

This is hard to watch. My heart is broken for Boston. As a runner, this is terrifying. I have to point out to the audience scared, paranoid at home, like we all are at this point, that feeling this terror is their goal. Feeling horrified and frightened to leave your house is what they want. They are overjoyed in your paranoia, they are aiming to make you so scared of the world that you abandon it. Do not do this. Do not stop treating the world with compassion. I know it’s hard, but the only way to fight terrorism like this is to continue to live your life without fear of explosions in city streets.

“…seconds after the explosions, you see hundreds of people running TOWARDS the carnage to help. Not away.” — Paul Kozlowski
